I came across some cool boxes I've been saving, including this interesting triangular box. I felt the need to immediately re-cover it with bookcloth and pretty papers and make a book to fit inside it. The book is made from cotton rag paper eco-printed with beech leaves, onto which I printed the text of one of my poems. It was a challenge to create a book structure that is functional AND fits into the triangular box. I had to pull out my middle school geometry. I also challenged myself to use only materials I already had on-hand in the studio.
